- Truck company trucks/cars by GPS system
- Monitoring truck driver performance
- identifying on road exceptions and taking immediate remedial action
- Collecting and interpreting data
- Analyzing results and develop reports
- Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security,
- Reporting the results to S&M Manager
- Defining new data collection and analysis processes
- Supporting data clerks on training the data entry, report preparation and keeping historical records
- Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
- Data manipulation to uncover trends and insights i.e. sub setting, pivoting, summarization, sorting
Job Requirements
- A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or related fields
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
Skills needed
- Experience in data models and reporting packages
- Ability to analyze large data sets
- Ability to write comprehensive reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- competent knowledge of computers
- Attention to detail
