Description of duties and responsibilities

• Identify possibilities to form market linkages among tourism destinations.
• Detailed studies to identify types of tourism business development and market linkage characteristics.
• Organize and in-place best tourism business development activities for duplication throughout the country.
• Consult stakeholders and decision makers in the tourism business market.
• Engagement and provision of expertise in project proposal preparation aiming at tourism business development and market linkages.
• Propose approaches to sustain tourism businesses.

Job Requirement

• Qualification: Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism Development, Business Management, Marketing, Economics.
• Work Experience: Minimum 6 years for all degree levels.

Skills for positions

• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Language: Fluency in English and Amharic
• Presentational skills
• Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
• Problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Good at community engagement and stakeholder’s mobilization
