Senior Public Relations & CSR Expert

Job Summery

· The Expert assists the Bank’s public relation activities and plans, coordinates and execute events, organizes annual conference, meetings and other special events. The job holder is responsible for the development of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) initiatives. He/she writes, produces and distributes important communication materials, ensures the Bank’s website and social media pages are updated, prepares and facilitates the distribution of the Bank’s newsletter regularly.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Communication, Foreign languages and/or related fields.
Professional qualification(s) in Public Relations is an added advantage.

Experience

At least five (5) years’ post qualification experience similar role in banking and service oriented organization.

Required Technical Competency

· Keep track of fast-paced markets and be knowledgeable about the Bank’s clients and their needs.

· Knowledge of public relations/media relations and corporate communications best practices.

· Ability to: draft and co-ordinate production of corporate literature and presentations, corporate award submissions, concept papers, company publications, press releases, and other public communication in electronic and hard copy format

· Understanding of business issues and how they relate to the corporate social responsibility and sustainability agenda.
