Job Description

Purpose:

Main responsibility is planning, organization and control of preventive maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical equipment for all NTE permeses. Responsible for proactively maintaining Mechanical equipment health (includes Steam boiler, steam generators, Air compressors, Power Generators, DUPS, SUPS, HVACs, Fire Alarm Systems, WWTP, water supply and treatment systems, Solar panels and heat pumps, diesel distribution systems etc.).

React for escalated urgent issues & ensure resolution & timely follow up of identified process/equipment breakdowns and unplanned events identified.

Conduct effective and efficient preventive maintenance with in planned schedule

Controlling the energy consumption by gathering data daily, analyzing and reporting timely.

Electrical equipment include High-voltage systems including dry transformers, medium and low voltage systems with equipment.

Reports to: Utilities Engineer/Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Organise, lead and take participation in area of responsibility in any technical maintenance, equipment tests and start-up of all electrical systems (including high voltage transformers with auxiliary equipment), lighting and utilities electrical equipment of production area, administration building and other NTE premises; Actively works on Utility repair and maintenance activities, prepares BOQ for maintenance and/or project activities of any electrical works in close collaboration with Utility Engineer.
• Inspect Utility electrical, facilities and all electrical maintenance work, identifies repair and maintenance work required; Follow repair and maintenance schedule of electrical works, facilities, daily, weekly, monthly maintenance activities to be performed . 
• Takes measurements of work performed; keeps records of and reports on material consumption, man power and equipment used and costs involved in any electrical materials; repair and maintenance work;
• Prepares a completion report of activitites/projects whether they have been done according to drawings/circuits and specifications, and upon the approval of the completion report, supports provisional and final acceptance;
• Execute all tasks inline with Local Legislations and EHS standards.
• Performs other similar activities as instructed by the Utility Engineer or Engineering Manager
• Creating good communication & information to production people.
• Continuous improvement of on technical availability.

•       Manage Various tasks & projects as they arise & upon manager’s request.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Electrical Technician Diploma Level 4 & 5 or BSC degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized University

Work Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience
