Position Title: Health officer /Clinical Nurse/compressive Nurse

Reports To: Supervisors

Duty Station: Addis Ababa Only

Number required: 20 (Twenty)

Closing Date: October 1, 2020

Employment type: Licensed HO (Public Health) and Licensed Clinical Nurse

Duty and responsibility:

A. Basic physical care

• Physical care at home involves providing basic nursing care and comfort measures.

• Such care includes; recognizing symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management, referral, and follow-up.

B. Basic nursing care

• Basic nursing care includes positioning and mobility, bathing, wound care, skincare, Oral hygiene, adequate ventilation and guidance, and support for adequate nutrition.

C. Symptom management

Symptom management depends on the ill person’s condition. However, basic symptom

Management includes:

• Reduce fever;

• Relieve pain;

• treating diarrhea, vomiting and cough; skin, mouth, throat and genital problems; and general tiredness and weakness; and

• Psychosocial support and counseling

• Home Nursing and Treatment Adherence

• Emotional, Psychological and Spiritual Care

• Terminal care, and other nursing care services

• Perform other similar duties as required

Competency areas:

• Having sympathy heart

• Ability and skill to follow sanitation and infection control protocol.

• Energetic person to give service for people

• Willing to participate in the volunteerism activity.

Salary:

Day time:

< 1 Year Experience: 170 Birr

1- 2 Year Experience: 190 Birr

Greater than 2 Year Experience: 250 Birr

Nighttime:

< 1 Year Experience: 200 Birr

1- 2 Year Experience: 230 Birr

Greater than 2 Year Experience: 300 Birr

The above-mentioned salary will be multiplied by the day you work per month and TAX and pension will be deducted from your total monthly income.
