Purpose of the job

Responsible for preparing and administering appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients. It requires expertise and willingness to assist people and provide them with information and solutions; and ensure effective medication use and become the people’s trusted ally against health issues.

Main duties & responsibilities

•  Preparation of medications for patients
•  Receiving and verifying the prescriptions
•  Pricing and filling of prescriptions
•  Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of a prescription
•  Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
•  Ensuring the availability of drugs by delivering them to patients or facilities
•  Maintaining pharmacy’s (and its patients’ employees’) safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies, and regulations

Job Requirements

 Expected Education and Experience         

•  Diploma/BSc in Clinical Nurs ing with3 to 5 years of proven work experience as a Clinical Nurse.
•  Valid license to practice the profession
