Stairway trading Plc is seeking for competent professionals for the following position

Position Overview:

A competent senior accountant who has previous experience with accounting in a famous business firm and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time, produce monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Ultimately, will provide the school with accurate quantitative information on financial position.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

• BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field with at least 5 years’ experience

Special Skills:

• Knowledge of governmental financial laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of purchasing and paying regulations.
• Knowledge of accounting Principles
• Knowledge of Peachtree accounting
• Knowledge of micro soft office computer skills
• Experience with general ledger functions
