Job Description
Purpose of the job
Under the close supervision of the site QSHE coordinator, the HSE officer will conduct day to day HSE-related surveys and inspections.
Main duties & responsibilities
- Regularly checks Quality procedures and records are implemented effectively in all department
- During and after document preparation checks the practicality and relevance of the Work instructions and procedures with the operator or process owners of the field and recommend improvement points in the document from a practical point of view.
- Conduct daily a walk-through survey to ensure proper housekeeping of Compound and the factory with respect to environmental hygiene and safety standards and aware staff to improve findings
- Verify work-related accidents and near-miss, investigate causes and take corrective, preventive action plans accordingly.
- Create and maintain a state of readiness to satisfy regulatory and client expectations during audits and inspections
- Work within a team to prepare and ensure the site systems are compliant and meet company expectations
- Actively support continuous improvement of Management Systems
- Provide SHE improvement proposals, propose corrective action, required resources for corrective action, and plan of implementation on NCRs issued
- Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure that requirements are complied with.
- Investigate the root cause of SHE complaints put forward by staff members, customers clients, and contractors and report the result to the QSHE Coordinator
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly SHE reports, statistics, and presentations related to SHE performance
- Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in an emergency. Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements
- Ensure that new employees, contractors, and site visitors receive SHE induction at Kick-Off meetings and before entering the factory.
- Serve as SHE committee secretary
- Supervise the overall fire and pest protection activity; ensuring that all fire extinguishers are in good condition; available on its appropriate place, inspected, serviced & refilled periodically as per the schedule.
- Conducts daily walk-through inspection on PPE usage in each department, train staff, and take corrective actions
- Promotes safety and quality and hygiene in the company
- Work other QSHE related tasks directed by the QSHE coordinator.

Job Requirements
- Required qualification:
- BSc degree in Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health or Environmental Health.
- Minimum 4 years super visionary experience in the beverage industry and understanding implementation of ISO 9001 & ISO 22000, ISO 45001/ ISO14001
