Silver Spring Production and Promotion PLC which is the sole agent for EBS television.  

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to administer our social media accounts. A Social Media Manager is responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, You Tube and Twitter, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. The Manager may also monitor site metrics, managing posts, respond to followers, and oversee creative design.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
    • Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast).
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
    • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
    • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
    • Oversee design (i.e. Social media graphics for Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
    • Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with company’s overall marketing campaign plan and channels.
    • Create and manage an online review funnel for building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review timely and with care.
    • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
    • Compile reports for management showing results.
  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, PR and other related fields and Five years of social media management experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills are a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms.
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience.
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
