Purpose:

Under general supervision, performs minor, medium, heavy and complex electrical, Machine Automation such as PLC programming ,inverter and related maintenance and installation work; follows up availability of electrical spare parts maintenance's  materials, tools and equipment; makes effective and efficient use of them; keeps passwords secret, checks and accepts electrical maintenance work of others.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Executes electrical service, repair and maintenance tasks for machinery, equipment, power distribution networks,machine Automation like PLC programming inverter maintenance and double shooting etc and control boards to keep the machinery and equipment in good working condition  at  factory;
• Checks availability and stock of electrical spare parts, maintenance material and consumables;
  Executes, follows up and controls routine, minor, medium and major repair, maintenance and new installation of electrical systems for Factory and Farm machinery, equipment, controllers etc;
• Disassembles motors, generators, capacitor banks, switch gears, electric and electronic controllers; inspects for wearing or damaged components; repairs or replaces non-repairable components as required; Maintains, follows up and controls machines using OPC and PLC systems;
• Services and maintains high and low voltage control bards, switch gears, furnace heating elements, lighting fixtures, power distribution networks, electrical operated equipment and generator; Checks, tests and accepts electrical repair, maintenance and installation work;Prepares electrical drawings;
• Takes good care of tools, testing and measuring devices and makes effective, efficient and economic use of assigned materials, tools and equipment; Keeps passwords secret;
• Compiles with established working practices, procedures and safety systems, procedures, guidelines and regulations; Keeps tools, equipment and work place clean, orderly and conducive 
• Participates in the inspection activities of machinery, equipment and controllers and preventive maintenance; Performs modification jobs when required, checks the quality of procured electrical items; Participates in the installation of machinery and equipment; Reports on work performed

• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Education:

• College Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering

Work Experience:

• 2/2 years of work experience in electrical maintenance and installation
