Job Description

The responsibility of the IT Officer is monitoring and maintaining the company computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems. Will assist employees who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products or services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
Give remote support to users. (telephone, any Desk or TeamViewer)
Learn fundamental operations of commonly used software, hardware, and other equipment
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues,
Assures system stability and security
Analyzes problems and implement solutions according to relevant procedures
Provide accurate information on IT products or services
Demonstrate good social skills in a professional environment.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.
At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware,
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools,
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware,
Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions,
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources,
Good analytical and problem-solving skills,
Dependable and flexible when necessary,
Attentive to detail and organized,
Experienced Service Management professional.
Expert knowledge of IT service management (ITSM).
Excellent customer facing/customer service skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Understanding of IP networks traffic, firewalls, routing etc.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
