Background
SBA Ethiopia Installation and Maintenance PLC is a branch office for SBA Kenya LTD
Aim of the Job
Ensuring that an organization’s accounting function operates efficiently & effectively.
Duties and responsibilities
- Customers Invoice processing from SAGE system.
- Accounts receivable reconciliation
- Accounts Payable reconciliation
- Debt collections
- Deposits of all collections from customers
- Petty cash administration and posting of the same to Sage system
- VAT reconciliation
- Filing and payments of Statutory deductions
- Maintenance of Accounts department files
- Any other duty given by Superiors
Key Result Areas
- Book Keeping
- Record maintenance
- Reporting
Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure that Customer invoices are sent on time with no delays
- All reconciliations contain only current items and are finalized by the 10TH of the following month
- Debtors and creditors listing to be ready by the 10TH day of the following month
- Ensure that statutory deductions-are paid on or before Deadline date of every month
- Ensure that VAT reconciliation is reconciled by 15Th of every month
Job Requirements
- BA degree in Accounting from accredited University, with proven experience in accounting of Minimum 4 years
- Able to work independently with Ethiopian Revenue, Banks, Employee pension Authority
- Experience in FMCG is advantageous
