Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support clients to translate communications from Amharic and English to Chinese
- Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Convert text and audio recordings from English language to Chinese
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
- Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
- Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices
- Satisfying customer needs and queries via inbound calls, emails or chat in Chinese language in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Marketing , Business Administration or a relevant field of study
Work Experience:
- Prior experience as a translator for any Chinese speaker with a minimum of two years related experience
Other skill and knowledge.
- Speak, Listen and Read Chinese Language
- Excellent Reading and speaking skills
- Positive and kind attitude
- Service-oriented thinking and acting
- Strong stress handling skills
- Flexibility and patience
