HST Consulting is looking for experienced, energetic and committed Professionals for Senior Financial Reporting Accountant Position for one of its esteemed clients engaged in a diversified business.

The Senior Financial and Reporting Accountant is expected to support financial decision making by implementing standard financial accounting and reporting system that provides accurate and current information to management and other stakeholders. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit timely, accurate, and complete financial reports.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports and submit to Manager, General Accounting for review.
• Review and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and manage financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Maintain tracers for all suspense and clearing accounts and any other temporary account.
• Check the agreement of the total with the respective general ledger balance.
• Provide required documents and explanations to external and internal auditors.
• Anticipate and document the impact of new accounting rules to financial statements.
• Ensure that the accounting concepts, policies and financial reporting are in compliance with International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in accounting & Finance and IFRS training certificate with 6 years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing, real estate, or construction sector out of which three years as a senior accountant. Analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skill, and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and in Peachtree Accounting and/or ERP system are required. Or
• BA degree in accounting & Finance and IFRS training certificate with 8 years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing, real estate, or construction sector out of which four years as a senior accountant. Analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skill, and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and in Peachtree Accounting and/or ERP system are required.
