HST Consulting is looking for experienced, energetic and committed Professionals for Tax/General Accountant Position for one of its esteemed clients engaged in a diversified business.

The Tax/ General Accountant is expected to ensure the Company comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations by calculating and reporting the right amount at the right time.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain tax proclamations, regulations, directives and circulars applicable to Horra in hard copy and soft copy as appropriate.
  • Conduct analysis on tax relief business status and report to the management.
  • Liaise with the appropriate tax authorities for any new updates on tax laws and regulations.
  • Organize and give tax trainings for the finance and management staff as appropriate and keep them updated when there are new tax laws.
  • Ensure that Horra complies with all applicable tax.
  • Prepare tax returns for all applicable value added tax, duty and customs, excise tax, profit tax, dividend tax, pension contribution and cost sharing.
  • Keep appropriate documentation, copy of returns and tax payment receipts for all applicable taxes.
  • Prepare and process tax refund request, if any.
  • Follow up any outstanding issues in tax matters with the tax authority and keep the management update.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  •  BA degree in Accounting & Finance, or Accounting with four years of demonstrated experience out of which two years in handling taxes.
  • Analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skill, and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and in Peachtree Accounting and/or ERP system are critical.
