Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the driver transports employees, products and raw materials as well as other equipment with due consideration of the traffic rules and regulations
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures the safety and condition of the vehicle's body; controls the levels of motor and brake ails; ensures the proper level of water in the radiator and the battery;
- Ensure the proper functioning of brake pedal and handbrake, windscreen wiper, lights and laps, chains, and clutch pedal;
- Drives the car with strict adherence to the regulations of the transport authority and the traffic rules;
- Transports employees/loads according to the daily schedule an by ensuring that the rule for load weight is adhered;
- Keeps the vehicle clean, and timely reports failures and problems to his supervisor; Receives and takes the proper clearances and issue/receipt tickets from the concerned bodies upon loading and unloading;
- Uses the vehicle only for authorized tasks and purposes;
- Properly keeps and prefects toolkits;
- Accomplishes other activities as instructed by his supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:-
- Completion of 8th grade or 10th grade in new education curriculum.
- 3rd Grade valid driving license or equivalent.
- Willingness to work over weekends and holidays.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively in difficult environments
- Commitment to 54fmcg values and principles.
Experience: -
- At least 3 years of work experience with clean driving record
- Experience in vehicle maintenance is an advantage
