Job Type: Full time – 40 hrs/wk

In this role, you will increase productivity, motivate and develop junior employees, and optimize our company’s market share. What You Will Be Doing

  • Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
  • Stay up-to-date on current market trends
  • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Collaborate with the entire marketing team to creatively reach more potential customers
  • Take calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition
  • Work in a hands-on fashion, building the team—provide motivation and inspiration
  • Set the precedent for excellence through leading by example
  • Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
  • Work closely with the rest of the management team on marketing reporting, strategy, and other leadership activities

Job Requirements

What You Need For This Position:

  • BA/BS degree and 5 years of professional work experience in technology sales (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener. Fluency in Amharic and English is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple marketing and sales techniques in Ethiopia.
  • Proven work experience as a manager.
  • An obsession with prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up.
  • The courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it. See something broken? Fix it 
  • The intellectual horsepower to become a trusted resource on Modern ETH in a matter of weeks, and the curiosity to keep learning about all its intricacies for years to come as well as the industry we serve.
