Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing IT related policies and best practice guides for the organization
- Organize the IT Department of the organization
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT systems and services
- Architect, design and engineer the Information Systems of the organization
- Plan and execute the acquisition of systems and services for the organization
- Ensure regular checks are done on network, systems and data security
- Work with the functional department in identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Designing training programs and workshops for staff
- Ensure Conducting regular system audits
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
- Providing direction for IT team members
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
- Cope up with new technology trends and figure out how the organization can benefit by re-designing systems and services
Job Requirements
Qualification
- A minimum of M.Sc. in Computing fields (Information Systems, IT, ICT, Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering and related fields
Work Experience
- More than 8 years of experience (at least 4 years as ICT/IT director/manager)
- Experience in Construction industry/ manufacturing industry is preferred
- Experience on project management is preferred
- Knowledge and Experience on ERP implementation is mandatory
