The Senior Joiner is responsible carry out work on maintenance, major and minor construction work, and usually works in a workshop, fitting various items for future installation by carpenters. Making specific fittings or furniture from staircases to kitchen cabinets, constructing shelving units, making timber frames, cutting and shaping wood, repairing and maintaining doors, doorframes, windows, etc.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+3 or Diploma and above in woodwork technology or related fields.
• At least 5 years work experience related to the job

TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS

• Having practical skills in operating different Machines
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Having good drawing skills
• Having practical skills/knowledge’s in using computer software system
