Company: DELTA INSTRUMENT TECHNOLOGY PLC
Position: Senior Accountant
Duties:
- Analyzing financial reports and records
- Training and mentoring (monitoring) junior staff
- Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations
- Assisting with financial and tax audits
- Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of the auditing team
- Administering all incomes and expenses
- Cost Building to import items
- Prepare (produce) and submit monthly accounts report to the management
- Prepare (produce) weekly cash position statement
- Check the accuracy of invoices prepared by the accountants
- Administer Bank reconciliation for all accounts
- Ensure proper filing and recording of each financial documents
- Monitor overall expenses and income
- Ensure the timely payment of annual Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority obligation
- Administer accounting and finance systems as required by Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority that includes ensuring the administration of staff salary and other payments

Job Requirement
- BA Degree in Accounting
- 5 to 8 years’ experience
- Previous experience in import and Distribution Company is highly appreciated
- Experience in accounting software (Peachtree, etc...)
- Experience in IFRS is highly appreciated
- Experience in ERCA procedures (VAT, Pension, withholding, etc..) is highly appreciated
