Job Summary

Material management officer is reporting to the Marketing and Supply Head and is responsible ensure proper scheduling, recordkeeping and inventory control. Handle all raw materials, equipment and other supplies needed for a company to run. Responsible in overseeing personnel, storage spaces, customer demands and inventories.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Based on company plan; organizing, leading, evaluating, planning and reporting the material management work.
  • Plan, control and lead the personnel and activities of a central store operation.
  • Provide crucial point in lean manufacturing training as well as performing cycle counts and report regarding the inventory.
  • Formulate the company's materials regulation.
  • Control all company materials and checking material inward and outward.
  • Making entries of material inward and outward.
  • Once a certain material or equipment is approved, placed in the inventory and will make sure that the proper department receives the goods smoothly and on time.
  • Receive finished product from production and techniques head and prepare for sales.
  • Prepare and update stock sheet.
  • He/she is accountable for any delay and lost because of his/her ignorance; follow up, lost document, information miss use and customer dissatisfaction.
  • Prepare documents for monthly and annually count.
  • Undertake such other duties as reasonably required.

Job Requirements

Education:-

  •  BA/MA Degree in Purchasing and Supply Management, Material Management, Economics, Management and related fields.

Experience:-

  • After graduation 6 years for BA Degree, 4 years for MA Degree Relevant work experience in Material Management Officer.

Mechanical

  • Manufacturing company experience is preferable.
