Our team
The Team is responsible for the strategic development and management of the country Humanitarian program. Supports Oxfam’s impact locally, regionally, continentally and globally through ensuring Humanitarian program alignment to the key strategic objectives and program standards.
Job purpose
He/she is responsible to lead the design, implementation, management, and coordination of effective and appropriate large-scale humanitarian interventions. This includes country humanitarian strategic management, representation, coordination, programme management, advocacy and programme support at senior levels. Ensure that the humanitarian programmes make the proper shift, with the quality needed to ensure a proper achievement of the Ethiopia Oxfam Strategy.

Location: Addis Ababa with frequent travel to field location (Tigray, Amhara and Afar), Ethiopia

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. This is a full-time role; however, Oxfam offers various flexible arrangements which candidates can discuss with the Recruiting Manager at interview stage

Key relationships/interactions: Work closely with different internal and external stakeholders at all levels
