Job Purpose:

Microbiologist is a crucial quality control role that must be performed well to ensure the safety of products.

Duties & Responsibilities

1 Performs testing in accordance with standard operating procedure and regulations.

2 Monitors, adjusts, creates and validates test methods to ensure they are current and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

3 Investigates abnormality related to microbiological test results.

4 Contributes ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory techniques, improve protocols, processes and equipment.

5 Communicates deviations, progress and interim results to the Management team.

6 Maintains detailed record of observations and data from experiments performed and prepare reports.

7 Keeps lab equipment neat, clean and in safe operating condition.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

BSc Degree in Applied Biology or related field of studies

Work Experience:

Experience is not required
