Essential Function

• Design negotiation strategies to resolve Non- performing loans (NPLs) and negotiate with customer for amicable settlement.
• Identify measure and set mitigating factors for the credit risk of the Bank;
• Evaluates and determine viability of the credit customers’ business.
• Collect credit information and legal opinion as required.
• Prepares proposal for amicable resolution, legal proceedings, foreclosure and full/partial write-off and presents to Credit Analysis and Appraisal Division.
• Communicate restructured decision to the customer and write-off decision to the concerned organ of the bank in writing.
• Conclude mortgage and loan contracts for restructured, rescheduled and additional injected loans.
• Visit business sites and work out for the regularizing of NPL.
• Discusses with delinquent borrowers for repayment of loan.
• Take timely action on delinquent loans.
• Ensure the classification of NPL loan as per NBE’s directives.
• Follow up foreclosure process and timely handle.
• Ensure the maintenance of detail records of delinquent loans.
• Perform other related duties given by the supervisor.

Job Requirement

MBA, MA/BA in Economics, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Any other related fields 7.5/9.5 years of experience in relevant fields in banking industry, of which 2 years in relevant senior officer position.
