Purpose of the job

Under the Clinic head, the medical Laboratory Technician is required to medically diagnosis in-house with Lab investigation and limit the number of referrals to an outside clinic.

Main duties & responsibilities

• Prepare and perform analyses of laboratory samples as per the clinic SOP.
• Setup, operate and maintain instruments and other equipment used in performing lab tests.
• Record and report the result to the clinical team.               
• Order supplies and materials as required; maintain records.
• Setup laboratory media/equipment.
• Collecting, preparing, and/or testing samples.
• Maintaining, calibrating, cleaning, and testing the sterility of the equipment.
• Skilled in equipment care and operation and training.
• Prepare report as per the clinic standard and requirement on time.

Job Requirements

• Health professional with Licensing Certificate
• Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Basic Computer Skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)

Expected Education and Experience

• Diploma in Medical laboratory
• 3 years’ experience as a laboratory technician
