Purpose of The Job

Under the financial planning & business control Manager, the overheads & General Controller is responsible for the overheads and general controls: controls fixed costs, administration, and distribution costs; establish financial controls & ensures payroll activities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Control all fixed costs, related to factory overhead, administration and distribution costs
• Ensure proper recording in accordance with company procedures
• Establish and maintain financial controls
• Ensure all payroll, payroll-related activities, and payroll deductions are recorded in compliant with contracts and payroll laws
• Reconcile financial discrepancies as they arise, after checking out the causes for the discrepancies.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Control prepayment and provision accounts are properly
• Participate in fixed cost budget and budget review preparation
• Collect and consolidate financial data
• Control all fixed costs against the approved budget, the contracts, and the Provisions
• Support on the month-end and year-end process
• Assist the FP & CM in presenting reports to senior executives,
• Fixed cost Variance Analysis, actual vs Budget and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions
• Ratio Analysis for major Fixed costs
• Report to the FP & CM with timely and accurate financial information
• Will be tasked with additional controller duties as necessary

• Must be detailed Oriented
• Ability to set and meet deadlines
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of IFRS Accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software

 Expected Education and Experience

•  BA Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field.
• 2 to 5 years-experience in an international FMCG, Industrial company or in an auditing firm
