Job Summary:

The Public Relation officer will be responsible for Developing AWiB PR strategy, plan, schedule and execute public relation programs to maintain reputation and visibility of AWiB. Ensures AWiB identity and image is maintained. She/He is also responsible for Membership and partnership management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manges Internal & external correspondence
  • Regularly update and manage AWiB website and content
  • Prepares and distributes information to the public by utilizing media such as Radio, TV, Social media, and print media
  • Manges and monitor information shared on AWiB Social media Accounts
  • Manages and regular update membership database
  • Maintain communication with partners
  • Mange Petty cash and bills payment
  • Organize Monthly event in collaboration with the team

Job Requirements

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Business Management or any other related fields
  • 3 years of experience in public relation or Sales or related activities. 

Competencies

  • Ability to communicate - Ability to send, exchange and share written and oral information in a clear manner
  • Being rigorous and reliable- Ability to ensure precision high-quality detail in the work supplied.
  • Creativite/Innovative- Develop new and unique ways to improve PR strategies of AWiB and to create new opportunities.
  • Organize- Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and track activities.
  • Problem-solving & decision-making skills: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the AWiB.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate IT knowledge
