Job Description
ZIAS A&E is an Architecture and Engineering firm headquartered in Reston, VA, USA with a subsidiary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Established in 2006, ZIAS provides design, supervision, and contract administration services for building projects of various sizes. We serve a diverse set of clients globally, including in the US, and across Eastern, Western, and Southern Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and color schemes
3D renderings and design packages
Prepare construction drawings, detail drawings for casework & millwork
Material specification, FF&E and site follow up.
Software:
Revit, D5 Render, 3DS Max, and Adobe Creative Suite
Specify materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories according to project needs and budget
Conduct space planning, site measurements, and analysis
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
Oversee design implementation, including site visits and quality checks
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainability practices
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior design or related field
Experience: Minimum 4 years professional experience, preferably in hospitality or residential projects
Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours when necessary
Immediate availability
Preferred (Optional) Certifications & Skills
NCIDQ certification, LEED accreditation, or similar credentials
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building standards
