Description of the Company

Skytecno is a Geven’s controlled company fully specialized in the manufacturing of Insulation Blanket. Skytecno and Ethiopian Airlines jointly created a new manufacturing facility in Addis Ababa with the name of Ethiopian Sky Technologies for which we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO): The COO is a senior executive tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the JV business.
Job Description and Requirement:
- Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. Fluent in English. Italian is preferable
- Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
- Management of Financial Resources - Determining how the money will be spent to get the work done, and accounting for these expenditures.
- Management of Material Resources - Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.
- Operations Analysis - Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design, evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of operational systems, technology and delivery processes.
- Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership.
- Preferable previous working experience with Italian companies.
Job Requirements
Educational Level
- As a minimum a bachelor's degrees, while holding Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degrees and other certifications is preferable.
