Job Description

Be organized and detail-oriented to manage all of the operations in the storeroom. In this position, you’ll play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Upon receipt of sales or delivery orders for products imported from the warehouse, cut or measure the cost of preparing and signing the product in accordance with the order.
  • Transmits copies of income and expenditure documents to the finance on time
  • Ensures cover for products stored in the warehouse
  • Ensure that fire extinguishers are functioning properly are in the right place in the warehouse
  • Arrange the items in the warehouse in a convenient way for counting
  • Ensures that products are sorted by type and prepare each type by its bin tag
  • Arrange the ordered products in a convenient way for control and monitoring
  • Receive delivered products by checking in conjunction with the delivery order
  • Prepare the deed of delivery of the property and get it signed by the head, referring to the type, quantity and other circumstances of the property received, and transfer it to the r Protects the warehouse from contaminants and keeps it clean
  • Holds a bin card for each product type
  • Prepares monthly production activity report
  • At the end of the fiscal year, prepare the goods and documents in the treasury in a convenient way for the census.
  • And any other duties your immediate supervisor ask you to do

Job Requirements

  • Experience working as a store Keeper in the FMCG and/or Cement industry are preferred.   
  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software.
  • Exemplary communication skills
  • Advanced MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Amharic
