Job Description
Job Summary
- Commit to Occupational Health and Safety standards. Frequently state and articulate that Safety is our No.1 priority. Adhere strictly to the site safety rules and systems and equipment operational procedures.
- Supervision of warehouse employees, Inventory accuracy, and maintain shipping schedule
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results.
- Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and shipments.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and physical counts; participate in audits as needed.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and transactions history to determine root cause of variances.
Job Requirements
- Business, engineering field of study; or work experience equivalent.
- Work experience on business related field for 3 years required, experience on FMCG operations has a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and managing key stakeholders desires at a time.
- Experience working within policies & procedures, and understanding of compliance, in relation to regulatory bodies’
- A high level of computer literacy and previous experience of financial/data are important. (Advanced work and excel skills)
- Ability to motivate and inspire staff at all levels.
- Tenacious appetite for commercial success.
- Fluent in Amharic and a strong command of written and spoken English.
