Job Summary
Under the supervision of Operation Director/Plant Manager, the Quality Assurance and Systems Development Manager is responsible to plan, organize, coordinate and control the overall Quality Assurance, Control and Systems Development activities of the Industry.
- Under the directive of the Operation Director/Plant Manager, he/she plans, organizes, directs, schedules and coordinates the general Quality Assurance and Total Quality Management systems of the plant.
- Formulate and implement effective, efficient, economical and safe methods to assure the quality of our products, process methods, the plant in general, manufacturing practices and personnel practices.
- Assist and closely work with the Operation Director/Plant manager concerning issues related to all the quality improvement strategies and proceedings, which would be implemented/ executed in the Plant.
- Plan and request the purchase of all the necessary consumables, instruments, utensils, reagents and other usables, Which will be purchased and fulfilled after reaching consensus with the Operation Director/Plant Manager.
- Manage and closely monitor the Quality Assurance Laboratory, Hygiene and Occupational safety facet of the plant.
- Prepare the Quality Assurance and Total Quality Management Systems department Programs, SOPs, Operational formats and budgets, and implement them upon their respective approval.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing the organization’s standards and code of conducts
- Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements and also implement changes that would add value to the company’s growth, safety and profitability.
- Ensures that health and safety regulations are met in accordance with countries & company’s health and safety procedures at all times.
- Review subordinate’s performances regularly, fills out their performance appraisal, train/capacitate them and support them to achieve their objectives in the company’s goals.
- Monitor the proper implementation of company’s policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist the HR team concerning the department’s recruitment and staffing activities.
- Accomplish other activities assigned to him/her related to the Technical capability and efficiency of the plant.
Job Requirements
- MSc./BSc. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Food Processing Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Engineering or related fields
- More than 7 years relevant work experience in manufacturing company.
