Job Description

Purpose:

Main responsible is planning, control, & monitoring of maintenance. Responsible for proactively maintaining Utility equipment health (includes Steam boiler, steam generators, Air compressors, Power Generators, DUPS, SUPS, HVACs, Fire Alarm Systems etc.) React for escalated urgent issues & ensure resolution & timely follow up of identified process/equipment breakdowns and unplanned events identified. Conduct effective and efficient preventive maintenance within planned schedule Controlling the energy consumption by gathering data daily, analyzing and reporting timely & have High-voltage system knowledge with transformers and other future equipment maintenance. 

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Actively works on Utility repair and maintenance activities, prepares BOQ for maintenance and/or project activities of any electrical works in close collaboration with Utility Engineer.
• Inspects Utility electrical works, facilities and all electrical maintenance work and identifies repair and maintenance work required; Follow repair and maintenance of electrical works, facilities, daily weekly, monthly maintenance activities to be performed. 
• Takes measurements of work performed; keeps records of and reports on material consumption, manpower and equipment used and costs involved in any electrical materials; repair and maintenance work;
• Prepares a completion report of activities/projects whether they have been done according to drawings/circuits and specifications, and upon the approval of the completion report, supports provisional and final acceptance;
• Execute all tasks inline with Local Legislations and EHS standards.
• Creating good communication & information to production people.
• Continuous improvement of on technical availability;
• Knows the health and safety requirements established by the law and the employer and follows all applicable health and safety rules and procedures;
•  Understands the aspects of labor protection and safety of his work and learns about potential harmful and (or) hazardous production factors, and also knows and implements the necessary control measures to maintain healthy and safe working conditions at his workplace;
•  Raises his level of knowledge in the field of occupational health and safety for the safe performance of work, participates in occupational health and safety training and acquires the necessary knowledge and qualifications, observes and follows warning signs, posters, warning signals and written instructions, and instructions;
•  Always demonstrates safe behavior, informs his immediate supervisor about accidents related to work activities, including those that did not lead to injury, and also reports on and eliminates the identified unsafe working conditions and unsafe behavior within his competence;
• Follows the instructions and procedures of the production shop, performs duties under the 5S3R program in the Cigarette shop;
• Follows fire safety instructions, labor regulations. Organizes and maintains his workplace in accordance with the requirements of 5S3R, rules and instructions for labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation and fire safety.
• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Level 4 & 5 in Electricity or BSC degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized University

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years working experience in related field

Knowledge:

• English (Oral and written), MS Office- confident user, knowledge of Collective Agreement, Internal Regulations and Safety policies of the company.

Skills:

• Electrical maintenance and repair activities, 
• Good knowledge of Boiler, DUPS, SUPS, Generators, Compressors, ACs & Electrical drawing & plan of Electrical maintenance including, all electrical materials..
• Knowledge of PLC programming and operation
• Good communication and arrangement skills with colleagues and contractors. Good Teamwork with positive attitude.
