ROLE PURPOSE AND KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
The Graphics Designer and Digital communications Coordinator creates and shares digitally engaging and on-brand graphics and other content for a variety of internal and external media.
The post holder will be responsible for implementing the overall communications strategy of the country office with special focus on developing and sharing content in graphics for social media and across our internal and external digital platforms including but not limited to our website, workplace, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other channels. REPRESENTATION
The post holder represents Save the Children values and principles in interactions with staff and external audiences, including frequent interaction with partners and technical staff. These values and principles include commitment to the mission of Save the Children, team orientation, accountability, integrity, and ambition. It is expected that the post holder will demonstrate initiative and leadership including introducing systems and procedures to strengthen the public image of Save the Children. It is also expected that the person in this position will also have a deep understanding of political situation of the country to be able to successfully raise the external profile of the Save the Children while reducing the overall risk to the organization. The post holder will also frequently travel to field locations to support graphics and digital content development throughout the country and understand our programs. S/he will work very closely with the Humanitarian and Internal Communications Managers and the rest of the program implementation team
