Job Description

• The job is responsible for all editorial works on all material written in English and Amharic to allow the Bank meets business standards of written communication
• Edit policy and procedures manual of the Bank they are published
• Proofread and edit reports and working documents with accepted and agreed quality and standard
• Translate written material in Amharic in to English and vis versa
• Prepare editorial manual for the Bank along with a set guidelines and standards to be followed with a focus on quality deliverables
• Review the publication of the Bank and check for accuracy, appropriateness, style and consistency
• Review and revise material for publication in newspapers, magazines, radio,TV and/or website
• Work closely with all staff members to help them improve their writing skills and produe highest quality reports with international standards that meet best quality, including formatting, design, layout etc
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Foreign Language and Literature, Journalism mass Communication, or other related fields with at least five years of related work experience
• Quality focus attention to detail
• Strong editorial skill
• proven skill in translation and interpretation from and in to English and vice versa
