Job Summary
The Tax Accountant will be responsible for general administrative and support services to the Tax team, according to company policy and procedure.Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual tax payments. (Income tax, Pension, Vat, Withholding, Excise, profit tax and any applicable tax.)
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
- Estimate and track tax returns.
- Receive all VAT invoices and verify detail information of the invoice.
- Organize and update the company’s tax database.
- Ensure that the reconciliations between tax declarations and general ledger
- Provide assurance by making a unique signature and stamp on the VAT invoice to assure timely submission by retaining a copy at the tax department.
- Receive & Follow Up the advance payment invoices.
- Encode the invoice detail into excel on daily basis.
- Electronic filing of tax returns.
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Offer support and guidance during audits.
- Ensure the documents and work sheets are properly field for future reference.
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
- Perform any other assignment from the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education
- BA degree in Accounting and Finance
Experience
- Two years of related experience
