Job Summary

Geneva Global Inc. (GGI) is an international non-governmental organization registered as a foreign charity under the Charities and Societies Agency, Reg. No 1724, to operate in Ethiopia. GGI has been implementing inclusive education in partnership with other organizations in the country.

As per the requirement of CSA, we need to announce a call for an audit firm. Therefore, Geneva Global Inc. is looking for an eligible audit firm for auditing the Organization for the year ended December 31, 2020.

The objective of the Auditing

The purpose of the Auditing is to conduct a financial audit of financial statements of the organization for the year ended December 31, 2020, as per the guidelines required by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE); Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) and Agency of Civil Society Organizations (ACSO).

The financial statements’ preparation is based on International Public Sectors Accounting Standards (IPSAS) requirements. Therefore, the Qualification of the Audit Firm should fit to conduct an audit of these financial statements.

To this end, those Chartered Certified (qualified) Audit Firms & whose name exists on the list from AABE are invited to participate having produced the following pertinent information.

Job Requirements

The requirement of Audit Firm

• The purpose of the Auditing is to conduct the financial auditing of the organization for the year ended December 31, 2020, as per the guidelines required by the FDRE Civil Societies Agency
• The firm’s profile.
• Qualification and experience of the audit team
• List of the staff members who will be deployed in the audit and their profile.
• Working experience on IPSAS adoption in international & local NGOs
• Renewal Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN Certificate) & Value Added Tax (VAT) or Turn over Tax (TOT) registration certificate.
• Have renewed trade license by the general or regional audit bureau.
• Working experience and proven track record of successfully conducting auditing in other organization
• A document testifying the settlement of the necessary government taxes.

Time to complete the audit and audit to be charged.

• The Audit Firm is expected to submit its technical and financial proposal in separate sealed envelopes within 7 days from this announcement to our office, which is located around Cape Verde street Atlas.

Interested and eligible audit firms must submit the technical and financial proposal in a separate sealed envelope to our office during working hours from Monday to Friday within seven consecutive days starting from the first date of notification of this advertisement.
