Job Summery
- The Senior Officer Network Security, is responsible for the assessment, resolution, and maintenance of the Bank’s IT network security requirements within the bank. He/she reviews and assess the Bank’s IT network security risk (threats and vulnerabilities) on a day to day basis.
Job Requirements
Academic & Professional Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.
- Professional ICT qualifications such CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA-Security is an added advantage. (Cisco Security Associate certification is Mandatory)
Experience
- At least five (5) years’ experience of relevant experience in an Information Technology environment.
Required Technical Competency
- Knowledge of tools used to secure and test security of information systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of threats and attack vectors as well as incident response and management.
- IT Vulnerability management experience.
- Strong knowledge on IPsec, DMVPN, GRE and SSL.
- Able to work with firewall and edge related security to include IDS/IPS, encryption, also security knowledge to work on core switches and routers.
- Solid knowledge of security standards, IT security regulatory and compliance regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of and practical experience with various Internet protocols (e.g., DNS, TCPIP, SMTP, HTTP, SSL.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of IT risk assessment, risk procedures, security assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing.
- Significant knowledge of complex ICT systems interfaces and impact.
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications.
