Job Description

Position Overview/Scope of role:

Position holder will be responsible for HSE support and advice, and promoting the continual improvement in HSE matters.

Monitor the implementation of HSE procedures and guidelines, conduct weekly inspections report at work site.

Top Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Identify the training needs of various levels of employees particularly those involved in critical activities.
  • Investigate incidents, occurrences and safety complaints in coordination with the project manager/in charge; charge
  • Maintain records of all the inspections and surveys in order to report results and follow up on compliance and corrective actions.
  • Review risk and impact assessments as required by the HSEMS.
  • Prepare weekly & monthly HSE reports and submit them as required.
  • Monitor safety performances of site engineers/Foreman/ Team leaders Conduct HSE Induction training to all including visitors to site
  • Identify work please hazard, Risk and advice the control measure
  • Analyze all first aid cases and submit inference report to HSE Manager Ensure tool box talks delivered to all supervisors for further delivery to workforces.
  • Encourage workforces to report unsafe conditions and near miss cases

Job Requirements

Education - Graduate in HSE / civil engineering / science field(chemistry, biology & physics) with CGPA - 3.0 and above

 Work Experience - Fresh Graduate with 0 years’ experience.

International company exposures (through internship / Apprenticeship or anywhere) is an added advantage

International certificate like IOSH, OHSA certificate is an added advantage

Candidate should have the ability to travel and work on different project site locations in Ethiopia
