Job Summary

We are looking for qualified and determined Public Relations officer who will take overall responsibility for developing and putting in place all communication campaigns and strategies for clients in our company. In this position, you will coordinate all public relations activities; develop a marketing communications plans including strategy, goals, and budget. You will also be expected to seek engagements in print, broadcast and online media. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop a media relations strategy
• Build and maintain positive trust relationship with public interest groups, consumers, and community representatives
• Prepare and review organizational publications for internal and external consumptions
• Prepare employee newsletters and stakeholders' reports
• Respond to requests for information from the media or designate others 
• Develops functioning annual budget plans and work for their execution
• Develop media kits and consolidate press conferences/releases 
• Develop sound relationships with stakeholders, funders and community in order to gain mutual benefits
• Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
• Prepare and submit PR reports
• Develop and organize marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with other departmental heads to develop marketing and sales strategies
• Study the objectives and needs of the company to develop action plans effective in promoting a brand

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Post graduate degree in PR, Journalism and Communication, Literature, Marketing, Media, or related fields,
• Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills,
• Well organized and detail oriented,
• Assertive and comfortable in reaching out to others,
• Has a solid ability for marketing,
• Sound in decision making and positive approach,
• Business awareness and good knowledge of current affairs,
