INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

FH Ethiopia is a non-governmental organization engaged in relief and development activities. At FH, we operate under a set of guiding principles we call the “The Heartbeat”. Together we follow God’s call responding to human suffering and graduating communities from extreme poverty. FH Ethiopia would like to invite potential candidates to apply on the following position for Tigray Emergency Response JEOP.

Position title: JEOP Data Clerk (5 Positions)

Duration of contract:   One year Contract

Basic Responsibilities:     

  1. Process all the transport bid documents and avail for committee members assigned by the organization and Responsible for JEOP transport agreement and file it properly.
  2. Receive all JEOP payment documents and check with dispatch and distribution records and make ready for check up to Commodity and Budget analyst.
  3. Make sure copies of the transport payment related documents are properly filed in the JEOP program office.
  4. Organize a JEOP agreement document from sub Grantee, CRS and Project office and properly file.
  5. Receive any JEOP commodity related documents and reports from projects for filling and avail as required by JEOP staff
  6. Make analysis of transport payment against the agreement and provide in both soft and hard copy to JEOP Commodity Coordinator for verification and checkup.
  7. Receive any JEOP commodity related documents and reports from projects for filling and avail as required by JEOP staff

SAFETY AND SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Each FHE staff member should adhere to all pertinent policies concerning safety and security policy of FH. Lapses in safe conduct can jeopardize the health and welfare of all staff.
  • Every FHE staff member has an obligation to learn and understand the security situation where they are located.
  • Each FHE staff member should adhere to all pertinent policies concerning safety and security. This includes, but not limited to, personal safety, road safety, etc.

GENDER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide adequate time to staff to participate in gender sensitivity workshops and related events.
  • Through observation, interviews, and spot-checks, ensure that the staff planning, Implementation, monitoring and Evaluation process is gender sensitive.
  • Facilitate open and regular discussions with staff on about the work environment, policies, and values convenient to gender issues.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • BA Degree in Accounting or in other related field of study.
  • Computer literate, Interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience preferably in an NGO setting is an added advantage.
  • Enthusiasm about the Heartbeat of FHE
