Job Summary
The Trade Marketing officer’s role is to manage all action plans for FMCG category in-line with the Besh Gebeya’s marketing guidelines in cooperation with the sales management team.
- Identify and develop necessary Point of Sales tools to increase brand presence, market share and improve customer satisfaction
- Join efforts with sales manager in identifying sales opportunities for trade marketing activities
- Assisting territory sales managers with marketing needs while prioritizing team goals
- Liaise with Trade marketing manager to plan and initiate marketing campaigns for the sales strategy
- Propose areas for improvement in sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities
- Monitor and coordinate, on a timely basis promotional SKUs and POS materials
- Perform targeted market research and maintain contact database
- Plan and execute an organized but timely goal plan
- Develop and execute sales calling campaigns to potential customers
- Conduct both online and onsite product demonstrations with the help of trade marketing manager
- Travel with team to train and assist in sales presentations at trade shows and activations
- Sees assigned projects through to completion and evaluate their success
- Undertakes any other duties consistent with the key responsibilities and duties of this position
- Strong time management skills while working under tight timelines
Job Requirements
University Degree, preferable in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising or Communication
2 to 3 years’ experience in trade marketing preferably in FMCG industry
Competence:-
- Familiar with development & execution of trade marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, market analysis and data collection
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent command of MS Office and digital media platforms
