Job Summary

International Clinical Laboratories (ICL) is one of the largest of independent clinical diagnostic centers on the African continent. ICL has opened its door for service in 2004 with the aim of “contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of life throughout Ethiopia” by encompassing a system of human and physical resources designed to meet the changing healthcare needs of the population it serves.

It is the only laboratory accredited by the USA based Joint Commission International for four times in a row. The laboratory provides more than 3000 tests in collaboration with its referral laboratories. ICL encourages the society to take preventive actions to improve health through its Wellness Program and the Cervical Cancer Screening Program

ICL would like to fill the following vacant positions by inviting all qualified and competent applicant:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationship with staffs and respect company policy.
  • Preparing SOP for wellness program.
  • Read, follow and apply the SOP of the organization.
  • Treating / handling the customer with smile, polite and professional way.
  • Explain the wellness Test request form to the customers with formal language.
  • Listening to the customers attentively and responsibly
  • Make all the customers history confidential.
  • Respect the customer and give attention whenever they are speaking
  • Respond to their queries with clear and understandable words
  • Data entry of wellness program
  • Use the cash register machine properly and make sure all the test are entered and recites are given to the customers.
  • Sample collection for wellness customers
  • Promote the wellness programme
  • Proper labelling of the samples drawn from the wellness customer and register on the log book/form
  • Collect money for the tests which entered in the polytech as well as cash register machine.
  • Preparing daily summary and submit the daily collection to the finance department
  • Report Complaint or suggestions received verbally or by telephone to Customer service manager after written on complaint form.
  • Report any technical complaints or inquiries to Customer service manager
  • Other related duties will be given from wellness programme manager, business development director, and General Manager.

Sex : Female

Job Requirements

Qualification: 

  • Bachelor degree(BSC) in nursing/HO

Experience: 

  • Minimum of two year of experience in hospitals or outpatient care
  • Capable of planning and reporting abilities
  • Knowledgeable in family planning
  • Experienced in Microsoft Computer application usage

Skill:

  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with variety of customers
  • Inspired to help someone in need and highly motivated in efficiently fulfilling her activities
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and respond to customers need and requests for service
  • Having good assessment skills
