Soufflet has started its operation in Ethiopia in 2017 is commissioning its malt factory in Addis Ababa while actively working on local malt barley sourcing.

To Manage inbound materials and equpment movements and staking at the right place Soufflet is looking to hire its Forklift Operator 

 CORE MISSION

The Forklift Operator main mission is to load the pallets and big bags into the trucks. He/she is also responsible of the cleaning of the areas under his/her control.

 Major Responsibilities 

•  Follows the loading schedule.
•  Control that the quantity of malt and/or bags ordered is available.
• Control before the loading of each pallet and big bags that there is no major problem with them (pierced bags, broken pallets…). Alert the Deputy Silo Manager if a deviation is found.
• Write all the relevant information on the specified logbooks.
• Alert the Maintenance Team and the Deputy Silo Manager of any deviation in the process.
• Follows the cleaning schedule.
• Assists the other departments regarding the need of a forklift/telehandler when needed. Consults the Deputy Silo Manager in order not to disturb the loading schedule.
• Assists the Bagging Operators in case of absence.

Job Requirements

Qualification:  High School Complete Valid Machine Operator Driving License 

Experience: At least 2 years of Factory and processing industry experience
