Job Summary: 

Agri Service Ethiopia (ASE) is a local non-governmental, non-profit making local organization established in 1969. ASE is dedicated to poverty reduction and sustainable community development in rural areas of the county.

The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation officer(PM&E) under general supervision of the Program Department Manager, plans, organizes, coordinates, implements and controls the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation functions of ASE. He/ she carry out periodic monitoring and evaluation tasks for the head office as well as all field offices. She/he provides planning, monitoring and evaluation related technical supports to relevant ASE staff. Prepares timely organizational evaluation and monitoring reports and analyzes them for informed decision on the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization in terms of accomplishing project objectives. Review and compile organizational reports for various stakeholders. Prepares and presents outcome of PM&E reports to be used as input for corrective action.

Job Requirements

Qualification: Education

  • MA/BA in degree in Economics, Statistics or other related field of study

Job Experience

  • 4/ 6 Years of relevant experience

Personal Competency:

  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems, work in a team environment.
  • Ability to write concept note and project proposals.
  • Project planning ,monitoring and evaluation as well as report writing skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Committed to work with rural poor and willing to work under pressure.
  • Computer literate in word processing excel and power point software packages.

 Duty Station: Addis Ababa/Head Office/ with regular field visit.

 Number of Position: 1(one)

Starting salary: 14,354.00/month and attractive benefit package
