Job Description
Job Summary
Sheger-Friendship Square is seeking a purchaser responsible for conducting survey on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal. Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts. Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time. Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock. Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely. Updating all records of purchased products.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Purchasing & Supplies Management/Management/ Business Administration or similar discipline is required.
- Three years experience in Purchasing/ Supplies/Material Management, Logistics Operation is desirable. Working knowledge of Food & Beverage inputs & familiarity with parts of machineries, electrically operating equipment & appliances, building materials and Knowledge of Materials Control (MC) is an asset.
