Job Description
Truck Allocation
- Provide demand forecast with each transporter at week beginning
- Optimal allocation of trucks to KDs considering millrun
- Ensure fixed delivery date design is strictly adhered and notify Distribution manager in case of deviation
- Place order with transporters OTIF and ensure early arrival of trucks
- Receive truck detail from transporters and follow up arrival at the warehouse
- Provide detail of truck along with SKUs to be loaded on email once arrival is confirmed by Warehouse
- Liaise with security manager and RSM to confirm local security and likely threats before dispatch
- Share detail with each transporter for work order preparation OTIF
Distribution cost
- Track and record actual cost saving from truck and route optimization on daily basis
Order Delivery tracker
- Update shipment detail on order delivery tracker on daily basis at 100% accuracy
- Share tracker with TMs and RSMs on daily basis
Transporter Payment
- Create DO, ensure transporters have enough balance of PO before invoice is issued
- Verify invoices from transporters and submit to Distribution planner for validation
- GRN invoices upon receipt
- Confirm Finance to proceed with payment once check and approval is done along signed off copy of summary of invoice
- Maintain up to date payment tracker and log book, and share with distribution planner
- Follow up timely settlement of invoices
