PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Safely operate Wastewater treatment plant and equipment, monitor, and control the process to produce a consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost while on shift.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Optimized Instrument control in the wastewater treatment plant.
• Daily, weekly, and Monthly Reports
• Carry out daily and weekly autonomous maintenance tasks
• To Assist wastewater treatment quality analysis
• Monitors control panels and adjust valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate the flow of sewage.
• Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and test results to determine load requirements.
• Collect sewage samples, using dipper or bottle, and conduct laboratory tests, using testing equipment, such as a colorimeter.
• Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings.

Job Requirements

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE

• BSc Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food science, chemical engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar industry specifically in wastewater treatment & laboratory areas.
