Job Description

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to manage compensation, benefits, recognition, training, performance management and employee relations in a way that builds long-term employee retention and strengthens our brand.
  • Our Human Resources Manager must be effective in finding the right balance between strategic oriented tasks and daily human resource administration responsibilities including administering pay, benefits and leave. This role will focus on the strategic and qualitative development of all human resource work in terms of service, efficiency, and costs, particularly within the possibilities of digitalization, and associated optimization and change processes.

Your Tasks: 

  • Design and implement effective strategies for successful employee attraction, recruitment, and onboarding;
  • Strategic management of competencies, contribution to continuity, and quality leadership through effective talent management;
  • Design and implement strategies for employee retention and support by creating and maintaining a positive company culture;
  • Design, implement and monitor Performance Management to enable employees and teams understanding of the goals of First Consult and to identify how individual and team outputs contribute to the achievement of our objectives;
  • Create and update compensation strategy through market analysis and salary surveys;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee issues, concerns, and conflicts;
  • Design of the employee's separation phase from the company and development of a proactive exit strategy including knowledge management and succession planning.

Job Requirements

Previous Experience and Skills:

  • Master's degree in human resources, organizational development or business administration;
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in human resource management;
  • Good knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations; talent management, and the ability to apply this information in compliance with employment laws;
  • Experience with creating a culture of engagement and collaboration as well as leading the evolution of the company into a learning organization;
  • Ability to collect and analyze employment data to guide strategic planning efforts;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent command of the English language;
  • Knowledge of local employment and HR laws and legal requirements;
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office;
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous;
  • International work and/or educational experience is an asset
