Job Description

As strategic partner to the CEO Commercial, the Business Development Director is responsible for driving & monitoring business growth within the OVID Group investment. His/her primary responsibility is to develop new business ensuring forward and backward integration of investments for sustainability and growth within the OVID group companies. The Director is expected to develop a network of contacts within and outside the country to research & develop new technologies & product, identify financing alternatives, attract new clients and market opportunities, maintain customer relationships and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with OVID Group investment projected income.

As a leader of the Business Development (BD) Unit, the Director is responsible to plan, organize, implement and control entire business development operations leading a team under his supervision. He will be responsible to set the roadmap for the implementation of developed business, gather new business ideas on the table, develop and or innovate new business ideas with researchers, technologist and engineers, identify new target markets, promote newly developed business products/ideas, coordinate researchers, architects, engineers and product designers for product development and implementation. Coordinate operational due diligence procedures during M&A of investments and collaborate with PR officer in order to ensure sustainability of developed & commercialized products/business and as well as promote new business ideas. He will also be responsible in structuring the BD unit in a way to cover investments at different industry sectors (Manufacturing industries, Construction industry, import & export, and real estate development). He will be expected to develop KPI reports on regular basis to the CEO Commercial.

The Director will represent the Group investments as PR, Marketing & Technologist to promote existing businesses, develop new business ideas & markets and ensure implementation of developed business. He/she will lead a team of Marketing Experts, Public Relations Experts, Business researcher/Developers, Technologists, Financial& legal analyst and Design & Technical Engineers. He/she will be directly reporting to the CEO Commercial.

Job Requirement

  • Required Qualifications: MBA or BA in Economics, Business Management, Finance and related with 10 to 15 years of related experience.
